Alexandre Bazin is a French Musician, journalist & Producer of Documentaries. He is involved in the experimental scene on the outskirts of GRM. His music is published by Important Records (USA), Umor Rex Records (Mexico), Constructive (UK).

Bazin began learning music at an early age. After studying classical piano at the conservatory, jazz and electroacoustic music, Bazin joined the GRM, a few months before the first edition of the Présences Électronique festival. On this occasion, the GRM opened its doors to musicians with an experimental approach from different worlds such as industrial music, ambient music, rock, minimalism, field recording, improvisation and electronic music. Bazin interviewed artists such as Bernard Parmegiani, Fennesz, Pan Sonic, Alva Noto, as well as great luthiers such as Peter Zinovieff, Bernard Baschet and the GRM Tools teams. Bazin draws his influences from all these encounters, which have left a permanent imprint on his music.

Bazin decided to pursue composition and develop his own sound universe on the fringes of existing movements and grammars. He shapes sounds with an experimental approach. Each of his tracks is the result of original experimental sequences, combining electronic sounds, ambient textures with pop elements.

Alexandre produces monthly documentaries for Radio France and GRM (Groupe de Recherches Musicales), tracing the history of the experimental scene from its beginnings to the present day. His documentary on minimalist music was programmed during the Minimal evening at the Centre Pompidou in 2018. He also interviews artists invited to the GRM.
Bazin and Clément Beauvais form Reptile Reptiles, an artistic project that ventures into uncharted narrative territories through a fusion of music, sound design, visual and poetry.
